Adamo Foods is a food technology company, developing the most innovative alternatives to meat whole cuts. We’re launching the world’s first sustainable and delicious steak, entirely made from fungi.
“Adamo” has different meanings across the World. In Hebrew it means ‘from the ground & earth,’ and in Latin ‘for the pleasure of’. Deeply rooted in these ideas, Adamo’s goal is to offer natural plant-based foods from the ground, for the enjoyment and pleasure of everyone.

How We do it
Grow it.
The secret behind our products? Simply leveraging the power of mother nature. Fungi grow at an exponential rate, and require minimal resources. Our large fermentation tanks make sure the fungi is happy and growing in the same way it does outside. With our proprietary fermentation process, we end up with large batches of fibrous fungus roots, also called mycelium.
Cut It.
Mycelium has a unique fibrous structure, very similar to meat. So we can cut and form our slabs of mycelium in a shape that will deliver the same experience as a steak or fillet. We then add a sprinkle of love and natural flavourings, and end up with astonishing steaks with the same structure & just as tasty as the real deal, but without the animal.
Serve it.
The last step? Serving our products to your nearest restaurants of course! We want our products to be accessible so we make sure Adamo’s steaks & fillets are affordable and available in as many restaurants as possible. Keep an eye out for our launch soon!
